After the earthquake in Haiti, FilterPure was immediately in Haiti and distributing filters, we had more than 700 filters there within the first week of the emergency.

We were able  to partner with some great organizations on the ground and getting the work done.  It was at this time that we met with Doc , Director of Wine to water, and the group from Global Effects, and with our own water vigilantes, Richard Wukich and Manny Hernandez, we got to work.

Since that time we have sent in and distributed more than 2,300 filters, built all of the machinery, and installed it all into a newly built factory in Jacmel, and developed  a relationship with more organizations with the need for filters in the future.
